Abstract
The OER Ambassadors, a working group composed of seven Texas Digital Library members, were selected to serve the consortium for a minimum of two years. OER Ambassadors are developing a Community of Practice and becoming a source of expertise for all OER practitioners in the state of Texas. Presenters will discuss the goals and projects of the Ambassadors, as well as ways other Texas-based practitioners can collaborate with us.

Lea DeForest works with Texas Digital Library (TDL) coordinating recruitment of new members and collaborating with member librarians of the consortium. Lea serves as the lead for TDL's OER Support Service, liaises with member working groups, manages marketing and outreach efforts for TDL, and coordinates communications for TDL's annual conference, the Texas Conference on Digital Libraries. DeeAnn Ivie
Open Educational Resources Coordinator, University of Texas at San Antonio
DeeAnn Ivie coordinates the Adopt-a-Free-Textbook grant program with cumulative and projected student savings of over $8 million and ROI of $56: supporting 97 grants awarded to date. DeeAnn facilitates outreach to campus partners in support of OER initiatives; manages UTSA Pressbooks in partnership with Academic Innovation; and collects and reports statistics on OER cost, outcome, usage and perceptions. DeeAnn also provides research and teaching support for social sciences faculty and tailors library sessions and tutorials for classes, integrating active learning, group work, and flipped instruction. DeeAnn earned her Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas. Her ORCiD ID is 0000-0002-9918-9530.
