Using the production of a record album by New Zealand artist Donna Dean as a case study, I am working to create a digital archive that will allow researchers in the Performing Arts to collect and archive data from their performances, exhibitions, compositions, recordings, films, and other "one-off" events that currently are not able to be directly referenced by other researchers. This project will involve collaboration between Otago University's Library, Information Science, Computer Science, and Music Department, in order to create the database archive and user interface. The project is in its initial stages, and I am seeking input or ideas from others -- especially those in fields of data collection and management.en_US
