Abstract
Description
The Vireo Users Group (VUG) gathers and prioritizes constituent needs to guide the TDL on future development of the Vireo ETD submission and management software. It also provides avenues for the exchange of information about Vireo use and development. The goals and major activities of the Vireo Users Group include the following: a) Prioritized lists of user stories are given to the TDL development team. b) A vote on how product enhancements should be prioritized is conducted once a year. The Steering Committee selects the enhancements to be included in the vote. c) Meetings are held at the annual user conference. These meetings give members a forum to express opinions and discuss issues, in person, with other members. d) The list of enhancements and other documentation are organized and made available on the VUG website at http://vireoetd.org/.
About TCDL 2020: Texas Digital Library originally planned for an in-person event for our annual conference, the Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL). Due to public health concerns and the rapid spread of COVID-19, TDL made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person conference on Friday, March 13, 2020. Prior to cancellation, nearly 80 proposals were submitted, many of which were accepted. TDL rescheduled a number of events to an online format, and materials from those events make up the bulk of this collection.
