A brief paper exploring the common issues, responses, and challenges exhibited in my writing as a whole and more specifically, in the appended works Ring, Rip, Rent and Search: Closet. I explore the fundamental thematic concerns of my work in general terms, and go on to examine the aesthetic principals which form the backbone of work I’ve created and desire still to create. The latter part of the essay deals with issues of craft that fascinate and challenge me, and the ways in which the presented plays both achieve and fall short of particular craft goals.en_US
