dc.description.abstractThe University of North Texas (UNT) launched the UNT Scholarly Works repository in October 2010. Since that time, UNT Scholarly Works has continued to grow as a tool for promoting access to the research, scholarship, and creative activities from the university's community. This digital repository was built into an existing infrastructure and its increasing growth has relied heavily on successful faculty outreach and collaboration within the UNT community. This presentation traces the development of our digital repository and discusses strategies for reaching faculty, developing relationships within an organization and beyond, and collaboration to support digital repositories and promote open access.
