dc.description.abstractA thesis exploring the use of PCs as an alternative test vehicle to expensive ATE and bench testing equipment. An example system is developed for comparing versatility, interface, and hardware capabilities. Results showed PC is most apphcable to testing SSI, MSI, and LSI circuit famihes. Future work is also explored for enhancing PC capabilities.
