This professional problem dissertation develops a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Religious Drama using College of the Ozarks, a Christian liberal arts college located near Branson, Missouri, as the model. This work covers a brief history of the education of religious theatre and discusses religious drama in general. The degree program puts the practices of theatre into a Christian context and is designed for a university setting. This dissertation presents a "one-of-a-kind" degree program which will help prepare students for professional careers in religious drama, and enable them to examine the tools of theatre performance while recognizing the similarities and differences between secular and Christian religious drama.
