A community complex in Rockwall, Texas

Architecture is a series of connections that not only link buildings together, but link the building to the environment. It is architecture, that creates social settings that connect people to communities.

The project consists of a community center complex that will house a public community hall as well as a private restaurant facility. These facilities will be supported by an art gallery and a performance stage that will house both public and private activities. These facilities will come equipped with offices, classrooms, storage and public rest rooms so that they remain friendly to the users of the facility. Parking for cars as well as a boat dock located on the lake will serve as areas for people to bring their personal modes of transportation to visit the center.
