dc.description.abstractThe problem under consideration in this study has bean, "Who made the greater gains in net earnings between the years 1939 and 1950, the average factory worker or the average enlisted man in the armed forces?" Another broader aspect of the problem was to discover what, if any, were the trends in these net incomes during the period under study.
