Abstract

The land grant mission to provide accessible public education parallels the values around open access. But relatively few land grants have passed open access policies. This study considers the intersection of open access policies and land grant institutions in the United States. It identifies formally adopted policies at the institutional level and analyzes both adopted policies and institutional types.
