Poincaré disc models in hyperbolic geometry

Abstract

This report discusses two examples of the use of Poincare disc models and their different relationships to Euclidean geometry. The topics include light reflection in hyperbolic geometry and the Hyperbolic Pythagorean Theorem; all in relation to the Poincare unit disc and Poincare upper half plane model.
