The Fr tablets of Pylos record allocations and inventories of perfumed olive oil stored within the Palace of Nestor. this report reexamines the interpretations of the adjectives, adjunct and ligatures that describe this oil. The study concludes that a new approach to the analysis of ligatures and their administrative function, as well as continued research into the properties and potential uses of aromatics already identified will significantly expand our knowledge of the Mycenaean perfume industry.en
