The funeral home is a facility for the preparation and arrangements revolving about the whole process of interment. The purpose of the facility is to act as a service agent of the citizenry of the community. Stonebrook Funeral Home is being developed by two resident funeral directors who have pooled their resources and talents in an effort to upgrade the funeral service in Lubbock. Stonebrook is to initially be financed by the owners in the amount of $620,000 and a mortgage loan of $1,240,000 from a savings and loan company. The total of $1,860,000 will cover preliminary planning and construction of the facility. Stonebrook will be owned by the two directors in a direct mutual agreement. The loan from the savings and loan company will be a selfretiring mortgage set up on a thirty(30) year repayment plan. The site for the project has been selected as Lubbock, Texas. In the preliminary stages of the development and in construction, all National, State and local codes, laws and ordinances will be met.
