This thesis contains the information about the design and implementation of a generic interface board with the system controller for automotive control. A design, implementation, and testing of a generic interface board for the system controller is discussed. The design of the interface board is based on various signal characteristics from the typical IC engine. Electric vehicles, and Hybrid Electric vehicle. Various aspects of engine control functions are discussed. Finally, results of testing different circuits of the generic interface board are given. The conclusions are based on these results. The future works that need to be done to make fully configurable system controller is mentioned.
