In defense of the Slow Creep
Abstract
My thesis as an MFA candidate, "Slow Creep", is a narrative short film about teens in the 90s renting a film and accidentally summoning a monster. Through this paper I intend to both touch on the process of its creation and defend it as an artistic piece worthy of bestowing on me the title: "Master of Fine Arts". I will also briefly discuss the history of my work, and the philosophical concepts that shape my approach to creating (and ingesting) media.
