Item A commercial banking complex(1964-05) Davis, Michael W.Item Item A regional health center for Tyler, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1971-05) Heaton, Fred W.The design of a Regional Health Center resulted from a need to create a psychological change in the indigent person. The average indigent person has the view of a health center as an institution and not as a place to get help. Therefore, I am going to create a health center that will de-institutionalize, a center that will draw the people of the area into it and, unknowingly, they will develop a familiarity with the Center.Item A regional health center for Tyler, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1971-12) Heaton, Fred W.Not availableItem Item Item Item Programming for Tyler Public Library(Texas Tech University, 1975-08) Kendall, Raymond ENot availableItem Tyler Community Theater(Texas Tech University, 1982-12) Huffman, MelissaTyler has long been the center of activity for East Texas (shown later in Tyler background) and cultural events are no exception. This project originated from residents discussing the lack of facilities available to the public appropriate for theater activities. Appropriately, the client for this project will be the City of Tyler, represented by the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce. The Junior League,(a women's community service organization) expressly the Committee for Cultural Enrichment, has expressed interest in supporting theater activities if a proper facility were available. Further, the project is being developed to be used as a teaching facility for a degree program in conjunction with the University of Texas at Tyler. The relatively young University has no auditorium or theater facilîty and no future plans to build any. Hopefully, this effort will avoid the duplication of costly buildings and will help focus the talents of students and the community.
