    Work status among Academic Librarians

    Work situations for academic librarians are shifting. Some work as Tenure Track Faculty, while others have been classified as staff. This panel will have Librarian with different employment status will talk about the pros and cons of the various statutes. Discussion topics will include but are limited to internal promotions, serving on a search committees, the academic library job market, and requirements beyond job duties. We hope to give our opinions on the most desirable working status and whether tenure track matters anymore.
