Item A "West Park shopping mall": shopping centers studied(Texas Tech University, 1973-12) Ruiz, VictorNot availableItem A broadcast and recording facility for Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1972-04) Wilson, James MNot availableItem A burn treatment and research center located in Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1981-01) Hamilton, RonnieThe purpose of this Burn Treatment and Research Center will be to provide a specialized burn care facility, located in Lubbock, Texas, that will meet the growing needs of the West Texas area. It will do this by both providing specialized care for the burn victim and by providing an environment suitable for teaching the complexities of burn care. Many burns are being treated in general and community hospitals without burn programs and, possibly burn expertise. While some burns (of the hands, for example) may not involve a large body surface area, the management of the injury may mean the difference between a functioning, contributing member of society and a less functional individual. Current literature supports the belief that the best burn care is given in facilities where such care is organized and formalized and where the staff at all levels are experienced, interested and committed.Item A Cardiological Research Clinic for Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1976-05) Williams, EricNot Available.Item A center for the study of West Texas regional history(Texas Tech University, 1985-08) Webster, David W.The proposed Center for the Study of Regional History is an educational facility which will provide an opportunity for a more efficient and comprehensive history education on a multiple of levels. The Center will co-locate, and provide new facilities for, the Texas Tech University Ranching Heritage Center (an indoor and outdoor history museum), the Southwest Collection (a regional research library and archives), the Lubbock County Museum (a collection of antique farm implements) and a proposed School of restoration to be added to the Texas Tech University Museum Science Department. The project should also provide facilities for education in regional history to be used on a full and part time basis by the History, Architecture, Engineering, Agriculture, Home Economics and Art Departments. Since the project will be sited on the Texas Tech University Campus, collegiate education will be the prime concern. However, the facility should also provide learning opportunities for individuals and groups with a variety of backgrounds and educational levels. The casual museum visitor, elementary school class or the family on a weekend outing should find the facility as useful and educational as the most highly educated and serious researcher.Item A Child Development Center: Choreographed growth(Texas Tech University, 1993-05) Marthaller, Tina SNot Available.Item Item A Chinese Restaurant For Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1974-08) Wang, Wann ShengNot Available.Item A clubhouse facility for Meadowbrook Municipal Golf Course, Mackenzie State Park, Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1995-05) Ulm, Trenton J.To generate an Architecture that is an intigrated whole within its environment through the application of the systems view of nature and fractal geometry.Item A Commercial Banking Facility for Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1977-12) Reissig, Dan PNot Available.Item A comparative study of some factors contributing to the growth of Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1964-05) Armstrong, Robert SNot availableItem A Design Program for a Southern Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1975-12) Gover, RonNot Available.Item A dining and drinking establishment for Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1974-12) Hill, William CNot availableItem Item A field house for Texas Tech University(Texas Tech University, 1971-05) Borland, Hollis GlenNot availableItem A field house for Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1971-12) Whitteker, James KNot availableItem A Fraternity House and Lodge for Pi Lambda Phi Texas Alpha Omega Chapter(Texas Tech University, 1972-12) Roberts, James RNot Available.Item A Fraternity House for Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity--Zeta Eta chapter(Texas Tech University, 1972-12) Gibbs, Thomas GNot Available.Item A funeral home for Lubbock, Texas(Texas Tech University, 1971-12) Grubbs, Robert C.The funeral home is a facility for the preparation and arrangements revolving about the whole process of interment.
