Item Cyberspacial educated intelligent computer aided architectural design system (C.E.I.C.A.A.D.S.)(Texas Tech University, 1992-05) Goodlett, James C.The practice of architecture is a study in dynamics because the role of architects changes as society's needs transform [Gutman, 1988; Vonier, 1988]- Thus, the management and tools used in the practice of architecture must also change. One critical aspect of this change is the role of information management, because it has taken on a new meaning in architecture within the last decade. The introduction of computer usage as a drafting tool, and recently as a design tool has created a different perception of information: information that has, less to do with information as data processing and more to do with information as knowledge accuisition, dissemination, and management [Forestor, 1985; Gero, 1977; Gero, Radford, 1988; McCullogh et al., 1990; Mitchell, 1977; Olson, Kurent, 1988; Vonier, 1988; Zandi, 1985]. Understanding this is a key to utilize productively Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) programs in the future.Item Human factors in the design and operation of handwheel controls used in a dynamic manual task(Texas Tech University, 1969-05) Jordan, Larry BernardNot available
