The Preisach operator has been successfully used in the modeling of physical systems with hysteresis, when the Preisach operator's density function is known. In this thesis, we examine a method for determining the density function for a physical system when implementing the Preisach operator and there is not enough experimental data to uniquely solve for the density function.
