A large portion of this report discusses the construction and design of an outdoor exposure site built at the University of Texas at Austin where the goal was to cast field representative concrete elements with laboratory precision and expose them to real environmental conditions. The elements were monitored for expansion and deterioration. At discrete expansion levels a range of mitigation methods were implemented on the structures.
