The Executive Director of the Texas Digital Library (TDL) since 2015, Kristi oversees a portfolio of collaboratively built and managed services that enable sharing and preserving scholarship and research data. During her tenure, the Texas Digital Library has launched a statewide repository for sharing and managing research data, joined the Chronopolis digital preservation network, and grown its membership to 27 institutional members. Kristi joined the Texas Digital Library in 2009, serving in various marketing and communications roles before becoming executive director. Prior to TDL she worked in the private industry as a researcher, writer, and editor for business and educational publishers. A native Texan with deep roots in the state, she earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Judith Sebesta Executive Director, Digital Higher Education Consortium of Texas (DigiTex) Judith Sebesta serves as the Executive Director of the Digital Higher Education Consortium of Texas (DigiTex). Prior to this she served in a number of positions at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, including as OER Project Director, and was a professor as well for over fifteen years. She holds a Creative Commons Certificate in Open Licensing for Educators. Dr. Kylah Torre Program Director, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Dr. Kylah Torre is a program director with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, where she supports Open Educational Resource (OER) initiatives. Kylah brings to that position professional experience in education research, curriculum development, and teaching. Her work in OER is a natural extension of a career working towards equity and accessibility for all students. Kylah is a former middle school teacher and previously served as an instructor at Hunter College, the City College of New York, and Long island University where she trained pre-service special education teachers. Prior to that, Kylah was Senior Program Officer at a foundation where she managed and evaluated domestic and international grants in the areas of education and human rights. Kylah earned Ph.D. in Urban Education from the City University of New York Graduate Center and her B.A. in International Development from McGill University.
