Inheritance of grain weathering resistance in grain sorghum

Abstract

This study will enhance our understanding of the genetic control of grain weathering resistance mechanisms. The information gained in terms of inheritance and heritability will be of great importance for sorghum plant breeders in developing adequate breeding strategies for the development of cultivars with increased levels of grain weathering resistance.
