The Texas Statewide OER Coordinating Committee, a successor of the Texas Statewide OER Summit Planning Committee, developed a handout for use in Legislator education on Open Educational Resources during the 86th Legislative term. The handout was included in TLA Legislative Day 2019, an opportunity during the 2019 Texas Library Association Conference to educate librarians and library staff on relevant legislative issues and methods for appropriate advocacy.
