An investigation of the effects of posture and rest periods on the performance of an inspection and positioning task performed under stereo magnification

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of operator posture and rest routine on the performance of an inspection and positioning task performed under stereo magnification. Operator posture will be varied by changing the vertical and horizontal position of the microscope. Operator rest routine will be altered by setting up strict work — rest schedules of various duration.
