Abstract
The TAMU Libraries’ Institutional Repository, OAKTrust, provides access to the University’s research. Recently, we have created collections for TAMU authors’ textbooks and other teaching materials. As with the research articles, we harvest these teaching materials to appear in our faculty profiling system, Scholars@TAMU, which identifies potential items in OAKTrust collections and routes the items to faculty as their pending publications. Faculty members are notified by emails from Scholars about their pending works, and then they log into the system to claim their items. This automatic process may help account for the rising popularity of the service among faculty.
