Rational cubic curve crytography

In this paper, we study the group on F_q¾{ℵ} induced by rational cubic curves. We show that the group is isomorphic to either a subgroup of order q + 1 of the multiplicative group of Fq2, or the additive group, or multiplicative group, of Fq.
