System design of a high speed digital image subtractor used in computerized fluoroscopy image processing

The design of a digital image subtractor for improved real-time fluoroscopic imaging is presented. The image subtractor uses time interval differencing. Its advantages over conventional methods are discussed. These advantages include the use of this system in the application to infant and elderly patients.
