Abstract
This study proposes to investigate attitudes toward special education and exceptional persons of selected groups in Nigeria, and to determine whether independent variables such as age, sex, religion, ethnic group, contact, knowledge of exceptionality, occupation, education, and marital status affect attitudes of these persons toward special education and exceptional persons.
