An educational center for San Angelo, Texas

The scope of this project is a school for 1750 kindergarten through ninth grade students. The project is located in San Angelo, Texs where a site has already been purchased by the school district.

The site is very much bigger than is required for this project, and has been reduced to less than half in the site analysis. It is anticipated that the remainder of the site will ultimately be allocated to a high school plant.

The activities analysis listed in this book are the result of some agreement about items which may not have been decided completely. As mentioned in the background statement, the San Angelo Independent School District has had some limited success with open planning at the junior high level. The learning arrangements described here are a compromise to open planning in many areas for the junior high. Elementary school with open plans in San Angelo have been regarded with remarkable success by the S.A.I.S.D.
