Abstract
Due to the fact that 24% of Americans get their news from newspapers (Thomas & Vistica, 1998), researchers should study media coverage of agricultural topics or sectors to evaluate bias in the media. As cotton is one of the primary agricultural products in Texas, this study sought to evaluate the coverage of cotton in the Texas print media.
