Abstract
Description
Many academic institutions across Texas now maintain significant digital collections of resources. The Texas Digital Library "What is Digital Librarianship?" Interview Series aims to provide a snapshot of the vast array of roles and responsibilities taken on by the people who work with these digital collections. These interviews highlight professionals working at Texas Digital Library-affiliated institutions, exploring both the tasks that make up their day-to-day jobs and the larger challenges of working with digital collections. In this installment, Ali Gunnells talks with Laura Tadena, the Inclusive Services Consultant at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. The interview covers issues of equity and inclusion in the library context and the role of librarians in bridging the digital divide across Texas.
