Abstract
For libraries and archives, the COVID-19 pandemic has radically amplified our patron’s need for broad and convenient electronic access to resources for study and research. For time-based media, like audio recordings or movies, providing online access presents both technical and curatorial challenges. The University of Texas Libraries recently completed a development project which helps to broaden access to our rich treasure trove of digitized audio and video assets. The Libraries’ search and browse interface for digitized collections now features streaming media, supported by open source software for the UI, as well as the latest version of the IIIF Presentation API.
