As data librarians seek new modes of data literacy instruction, collaboration with liaison librarians becomes an integral part of both outreach and instructional efforts. In addition to offering disciplinary expertise, liaison librarians can leverage their relationships within liaison areas to raise awareness and garner interest in new data services. Attendees will learn how Research Data Management librarians and an Engineering Liaison librarian collaborated to develop data literacy instruction for an engineering research lab at Texas A&M University. The librarians consulted with the leadership team of the lab to design data workflows to improve documentation and preservation practices.en_US
