Abstract
Discussing the methods and tools used when virtually training imaging student employees at the University of North Texas Digital Projects lab. The virtual training approach was influenced by safety protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We utilized Microsoft Teams, Zoom, an internal wiki, and reserving private rooms. There will be a breakdown of what worked and when some unanticipated issues arose. By thinking outside traditional training methods and leaning into virtual training, we hope to offer tangible suggestions to training student employees that others can implement in their own training workflows moving forward.
