Benefits and challenges in using CBCM construction management software for the United States Navy Seabees

This thesis analyzes the benefits and challenges experience by Seabees in the use of the construction management software, "CBCM". U.S. Navy Seabees have used CBCM for over 10 years in the management of the construction projects in both peacetime and contingency environments. This study evaluates the functionality of the program itself, the construction estimating skills and training of the Naval Construction Force, and the implementation of the actual program to the end user. Conclusions and recommendations based upon the survey results conducted through this study are offered.
