Weber's "Protestant Ethic" And His Critics
Abstract
This thesis focuses on Max Weber’s “Protestant Ethic” Thesis. In his thesis
Weber claims after the Reformation, Calvinism created the needed work ethic to
produce modern capitalism. His critic’s arguments against this claim are presented and
compared with Weber’s replies.
